We ask for the following information as a basis in order to start searches:

Type of Item (Suitcase/Box/Holdall)
Brand Name:
Material (e.g. hard shelled plastic, canvas/fabric, soft top etc):
Dimensions: 
Colour:
Does the item have Wheels? If so, how many and their placement?
Does the item have Handles? If so, how many and their placement?
Can you list any Distinctive Features?

When you provide information to us it needs to be correct and detailed - we cannot accept generic descriptions as this will not help locate your item. 

Due to this we do not recommend rushing into providing information that may be vague or potentially incorrect as this could hinder these searches. 

The more detailed information you provide us, the better the chance the couriers can easily locate your item and have it relabelled and delivered as soon as possible.

Poor Description examples:

• Black suitcase with mens clothes

• Holdall with clothing

• Black (Maybe blue?) suitcase

Tips for providing detailed information:

• Provide clothes/shoes sizes, brand and colours

• Are there any customised items inside (e.g sports tops with names, school leaving hoodies/jersies etc)

• If there are any sports tops, what sport are they for, what is the team name etc.

• Are there any books inside? What are the titles and colours of the books?

• Are there any documents / cards inside? What type of documents are these? Are there other names listed on them? If couriers can spot names, they will normally note this in their lost and found database.

• Are there any distinctive items inside? Please let us know any items you think might help. 

• Are there any potentially prohibited items? Please inform us of this possibility as this could change the location of the searches as Hazardous Materials have their own location.
