Non-EU citizens can obtain the EORI code by filling in the specific Application Form for the assignment of an EORI number and submitting a request to any local office of the Customs Agency.

The link to the EORI application form can be found here: https://www.adm.gov.it/portale/documents/20182/889923/Application+form+for+the+assignment+of+an+EORI+number_+EN.pdf/20443175-1a42-4a72-90b4-3f67d9395492?msclkid=0d1dcab5b9b111ec9c223003bc2ac1b7

If Applying in advance of shipping your goods you can also email the application form to:
[email protected]

In the extraordinary circumstance that the shipper is unable to visit a Customs Agency office, as
an exception and exclusively at a DHL Service Point, DHL can request the EORI code on their
behalf, based on the following documents:

Application Form EORI

Authorization to DHL Express for the assignment of an EORI number and a copy of the passport page reporting the personal data.

You can view the information here Private persons required invoice information https://mydhl.express.dhl/it/en/help-and-support/customs-clearance-advice/private-persons-invoice-information.html

The blue writing is all hyperlinks to the paperwork DHL needs to apply on your behalf, we
would recommend completing this and having it printed out with a copy of your customs form to
be handed to the driver on collection of the shipment.
